Reverent Men.  

The men I relate with are deeply reverent toward women and the feminine.

They do not say this in words, but they show it via all the words they speak and the actions they take.

I'm grateful I know how to discern it, this true reverence, because the men who will outright tell me of their adoration and respect for women and the feminine often only show it that way.

They think thoughts about valuing women and the feminine, but their actions and underlying beliefs are not OF this reverence.

Often men whose behavior and speech reveals a latent reverence for the feminine would not claim to be exquisitely devoted—they always see ways they could do more, ways they're failing to be enough, ways they could be better.

I've stopped taking men's words seriously, and I don't want to start ever again.

I take a man's presence seriously. I take his actions seriously. I take his embodied beliefs seriously. It's a relief to him that I don't put too much stock in his words.

Whose your Mama? Navigating mother (or other) projections. In a Relateful session today, there was a participant projecting mother energy onto another participant. I often see this play out as an exploration of the projector’s experience and we hear from the projectee as to how they are receiving the projection. I’m curious about alternative approaches the projectee could take to discover more about herself, the dynamic, or the projector.

We’re working with and hosting energies that are larger than individual personalities and my sense is they want to flow freely. This makes me wonder how we can embrace more of ourselves beyond our usual personality playground, and embrace a wider I.

I have more questions than answers here. I wonder what you see as potentials in being the projectee that stay within the practice and promote more consciousness and love? How do you engage with projections in your facilitation or as a participant in groups?

More People Should Die. Elderly people should be able to legally choose to end their life when they’re ready. In fact, any adult should be legally allowed to choose to die. They should be able to invite people, be present for their memorial service, and have a medical professional end their life.

And we should be more present with death in society. People should be able to attend their loved ones’ cremations. Embalming should be illegal.
